Turned my back on love
wishing it away for good
But love is calling out to me
In a way I never knew it could
God telling me not give up
on the the essence of what it means
Hope is being restored in me
And now all I can do is dream
Your in my dreams every night
but it's your face I can not see
Are you the one I prayed so hard for
Sent from God especially for me
I miss the feeling of Love and I hope that it
comes for me once again
In the meantime while Im patiently waiting
I"ll occupy my time with paper and pen
Life taught lessons tell me not to go
in search of this thing called love
Sustaining a relationship that will stand the test of time
can only come from "The One" up above
I won't give up, can't seem to let it go
so much of me still left to give
No longer a prisoner held capitive from my past
I am most definitely ready to live
Love has become more important
than I ever imagined it could be
I won't run and I can't hide
It's time for love to capture me
