"Forsaken"

Why is that I feel as if I am being lead astray
Thought I was on the right path, following in your way

So confused at this moment, for why have you forsaken me
Giving me over for Satan's play is all I can see

I try to be obedient, try to do as you ask
I've been staying on track, even completing all your task

I'm left bewildered, don't know how I should feel
Demons all over me, they are going in for the kill

I need an answer and I need it fast
Needing you to show me the real truth of all things masked

Can't believe any more lies, for my eyes are now open
Fighting to achieve warrior status, don't want to be Satan's token

So I call out to your Lord, to come save me from traps being laid
Light my eyes to the hidden, no longer do I want to be dismayed

I will never give up on you, for I know your power
Maybe this time around,  I will have to endure until the darkest hour

So to all that feel as if God can't hear your prayer
I tell you he loves you and he does really care

Trials are meant to be given to each one of us
All you need to do is have faith and complete trust

This is what I'm feeling now,  I am just being plain blatant
Of the times I feel as if I am being forsaken...
