The days have grown longer, but still I wait
Time keeps passing by,  but still I wait
Getting harder to hold on, but still I wait
No signs from heaven, but still I wait
Seems out of my grasp, but still I wait
My heart is breaking, but still I wait
Life is beating my down, but still I wait
Mind conspiring against me, but still I wait
I have grown so tired, yet still I wait
Singing coming from within me is why I still wait
How much more will I have to endure, dream, before I wait no more
