"Where I'm Going"

I don't know where I'm going
But I know where I've been

I haven't received all of my dreams
But the dreams still live inside of me

I have lived a hard life
But knowledge is what I have gained along the way

I may not have been the best mother
But I enjoyed every moment of trying

I have yet to find the truest of  "Love"
But my "heart" has a melody for it

I may not be the prettiest woman around
But my beauty is on the inside and shows outwardly

I am not a great, published poet
But as long as I keep experiencing life, I will have a story to tell

I may not have fulfilled my destiny in life
But I have found my way back to the path

I don't know where I'm going
But I am excited about where the journey is taking me
